Aceclofenac
Aceclofenac is a structural NSAID belonging to the phenylacetic acid group, closely related to diclofenac but showing preferential selectivity for the COX-2 enzyme. It functions by effectively blocking prostaglandin synthesis while stimulating the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans in osteoarthritic cartilage. Because it produces less mucosal prostaglandin inhibition in the stomach compared to conventional NSAIDs, it offers excellent systemic relief for joint pain and chronic backaches with improved gastric safety tolerance.
